The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation (HDOT) has announced lane shifts on the Lahaina Bypass due to road striping and pavement marker installation. This work will take place between Kai Hele Kū Street and Hōkiokio Place.

The scheduled work is set for April 10, 11, 14, and 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. If completed ahead of schedule, updates will be available on HDOT's Roadwork Page.

Traffic will continue in both directions with a lane shift, ensuring no lane closures are required. "The work includes striping double-solid yellow lines to remove the current passing zone," HDOT stated.

The schedule is weather-dependent, and drivers are urged to "follow all traffic controls and drive carefully around the workers."
