The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation (HDOT) has announced that soil sampling work will be conducted along state highways in Central Maui from March 17 to March 19. This work is part of the department's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve roadways.

During this period, highway users may experience traffic delays as crews carry out their tasks. The HDOT urges drivers to follow all signs and traffic controls and exercise caution when driving near workers.

"Please obey all signs and traffic controls and drive carefully around the workers," stated the department.
