The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation (HDOT) has announced a lane closure at the intersection of South High Street and Kolo Place in Wailuku. This closure is expected to affect traffic, as one northbound lane on South High Street will be closed for two nights from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., starting Monday, March 3, and ending Wednesday, March 5.
The closure is necessary to facilitate striping and paving work following an emergency sewer line repair conducted on February 27. During this period, the southbound lane will remain open with alternating traffic flow.
Motorists are advised to follow all signs and traffic controls and exercise caution around construction workers. Updates regarding the construction will be available on HDOT’s social media platforms, including Facebook and X.
