A scheduled water service outage will affect the area from St. Peter Church Road to Koali in East Maui from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27, or until maintenance work is completed, according to a May 20 announcement.

The planned outage is expected to impact about 73 residences and 15 standpipes during the maintenance period.

Officials advise residents in the affected area to prepare for the temporary loss of water service and plan accordingly. The County of Maui recommends that those experiencing issues after restoration or needing further guidance should consult their helpline.
