A water service outage affecting Uluniu Road from W. Lipoa Street to Nohokai Street in South Maui began at 7 p.m. on April 21 and is expected to last until approximately noon on April 22, according to an announcement released April 21.

The outage is due to two water main breaks that have impacted the area. This situation affects about 25 services and three hydrants along the affected stretch of Uluniu Road.

To assist residents during the disruption, five potable water tanks, known as water buffalos, will be stationed along Uluniu Road within the impacted area.

Officials are working to restore normal water service as quickly as possible. Residents are encouraged to use the provided potable water sources while repairs continue.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
