Traffic advisory issued for King Kamehameha Day parade in Honolulu

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation has announced that there will be road closures and delays on state and city streets in downtown Honolulu due to the 108th King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade. The event is scheduled for Saturday morning, June 14.

The parade will start at King Street in front of ‘Iolani Palace. Participants will proceed down Punchbowl Street, turn left onto Ala Moana Boulevard, and continue to Kalākaua Avenue. The route concludes at Monsarrat Avenue and Queen Kapi‘olani Park.

Street closures in the downtown area are set to begin at 7:30 a.m., aligning with the parade’s progress along its path. The parade is expected to reach Kapi‘olani Park by 11:30 a.m.
