The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is preparing for the continuation of legislative discussions in Hawaii as 2023 marked the first year of the biennium. Bills that did not advance will remain on the agenda for 2024, and NFIB's legislative team plans to maintain dialogue with lawmakers regarding key issues affecting small businesses.

These issues include minimum wage, paid sick and family leave, equal pay, online privacy and security, and visitor impact bills. The organization aims to address these matters to support the interests of small business owners in Hawaii.
