NFIB members in Hawaii will soon receive their 2026 state ballot, according to an announcement from the organization. The ballots are expected to arrive via email starting January 5, with some members also receiving them by mail shortly after that date.

The organization is urging its members to participate in the voting process. “NFIB’s reputation as the voice of small business comes directly from what our members tell us, through regular state and federal balloting, are the issues important to their ability to own, operate and grow their enterprises,” the statement reads.

According to NFIB, input from its membership is a key factor in how state lawmakers and administration officials view the group. “State lawmakers and administration officials recognize and respect NFIB as the true voice of small business because of its member-driven structure. So, make your voice heard. Please vote your ballot.”

Each question on the ballot will include a brief explanation along with arguments presented by both supporters and opponents.

The organization conducts these ballots regularly to ensure that policy positions reflect the priorities of small business owners across Hawaii.
