Lane shifts are scheduled on South Puʻunēnē Avenue (Route 3500) in Kahului, Hawai‘i, as the Hawai‘i Department of Transportation (HDOT) begins road resurfacing work. The changes will take place from Tuesday, August 19 through Friday, August 22.

According to HDOT, motorists should expect different lane configurations during this period and are advised to follow all posted traffic control devices, including cones and signage.

“Motorists should obey all traffic control devices including coning and signage,” stated the department.
