The Hawaii Department of Transportation announced on April 23 that Kūhiō Highway will have a nightly single-lane closure between Mālolo Road and ʻAnae Road in Hanalei from Tuesday, April 28 through the middle of May. The closure will take place Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., with traffic detoured to Weke Road via Mālolo Road.
