Kapaʻa Bypass Road southbound to close for maintenance October 27–31

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) has announced that the southbound Kapaʻa Bypass Road will be closed from Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 31. The closure will take place daily between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to allow for grass cutting along the roadway.

During this period, traffic will be rerouted via Kukui Street to access the two-way section of the Kapaʻa Bypass Road at Olohena Road.
