The County Office of Economic Development announced on May 1 that the application deadline for its Fiscal Year 2027 Grant Program has been extended to 5 p.m. on May 15.

The extension gives nonprofit and for-profit organizations additional time to apply for grants aimed at supporting projects, programs, and events that have a positive and sustainable economic impact in Maui County.

According to the announcement, applications must be submitted through https://mauioed.submittable.com/submit. The Office said that due to recent maintenance on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) website, applicants may submit their applications without the required DCCA documentation at this time. However, organizations that are conditionally awarded grants will need to provide all necessary DCCA documents before receiving any county funding. This step is intended to keep the application process moving if DCCA system maintenance continues.

All other requirements for applying remain unchanged. The Office encourages applicants to submit their materials as early as possible.

For questions or assistance with the application process, interested parties can contact OED at (808) 270-7710 or [email protected].
