Census Bureau: More men than women in Hawaii in 2020

Of the 1,420,074 people living in Hawaii in 2020, 49.8 percent (707,824) were women and 50.2 percent (712,250) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Aloha State News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 19,752. In the 65 and over age range, there were 142,797 females and 118,410 males.
